Every year CILSF takes the opportunity to put our philosophy and services out there and network with the thousands of companies and agencies here in South Florida! This year was no different for #MBCR2019 at the beautiful Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami! Our CILSF family had a blast getting to meet new friends and peers, reconnecting with old ones, and of course participating in the race.
YOU-nique dance party
They say that, “when you dance, you can enjoy the luxury of being you". In March 2019, CILSF set the tone for the rest of the year with YOU-nique Dance Party - held at one of the hippest locations in town, Gramps, in Wynwood, where our guests struck a pose and did the Conga in between mingling with new friends and reconnecting with the CILSF fam. CILSF strives for building a sense of community among our peers, and YOU-nique Dance Party did just that.
CILSF Summer Bash 2018
In summer of 2018, CILSF hosted an all-inclusive event to unveil the new look of our brand, plus celebrate with our peers, friends, and allies the array of disabilities that our organization serves. CILSF aims to push the envelope, and this event wasn't the exception – #CILSFSummerBash took place at the iconic The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, providing our guests with the perfect setting to engage with one another and get re-introduced to our brand and services.
National Council on Independent Living Conference 2018
Every year we look forward to attending NCIL. In July of 2018, a group of our staff members participated in the annual conference in Washington, D.C., where they mingled with their peers across the nation, shared best practices with each other, and best of all, embraced the spirit of independent living.
